Accra Lions Ahead : Accra Lions Football Club are currently topping the 2022/23 betPawa Ghana Premier League after defeating Bechem United on the road during Week 6 of the league season.
Frederick Asante scored the only goal at the Nana Gyeabour Park on Sunday as Lions registered their fifth win of the campaign. They are the team with the most number of victories in the league so far.
The Accra side went top as Aduana Stars , table toppers after Week 5 , lost at Real Tamale United in Tamale by 1-0.
Lions are now on 15 points after 6 matches played whilst Asante Kotoko who won at Medeama are second place on 13 points alongside Aduana Stars after the same number of matches contested as Accra Lions.
