33-year old Cameroon striker Choupo-Moting to extend Bayern Munich deal till 2024

Choupo-Moting to Extend Bayern Contract : According to Sky information, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting has agreed to extend his contract with the German giants Bayern Munich until 2024.

There is no unilateral or bilateral option to extend until 2025. Both sides have mutually agreed on this.

The negotiating parties had already reached a basic agreement in the past few days. Now the extension is fixed and should be announced promptly. Choupo-Moting has extended the contract by one year ahead of schedule despite a number of well-known interested parties.

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic had campaigned intensively for his contract extension in the past few weeks.

With his new contract, Choupo-Moting has also moved up to a new salary bracket at FC Bayern. So far, including bonuses, he will pocket around seven million euros.

His salary, including the annual performance bonus to be achieved, was increased significantly.

The 33-year old has scored 15 goals and made 4 assists in 24 matches in all competitions this season.
