David Abagna Impressed Florent Ibenge : Ghana failed to come out of the group stages of the 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria but the top performances of midfielder David Abagna Sandan did not go unnoticed as Al-Hilal head coach Florent Ibenge was impressed from afar.
The Congolese football coach won the 2016 CHAN with DR. Congo and the 2022 CAF Confederation Cup with RS Berkane. He is therefore definitely an expert in terms of identifying quality.
“Let me tell you that Al-Hilal watched the 2022 CHAN in Algeria with their scouts and David Abagna appeared at a great level during the competition.
The Al Hilal coach (Florent Ibengé) then demanded his bosses to quickly get him Abagna at all cost.” Tahir Salih told GhanaSportsMarket.com exclusively.
“As you can see David has quickly fit into the team and the Al Hilal fans are really happy with the impressive Ghana duo Abagna and Imoro Ibrahim” Tahir added.

Abagna has started all three matches of Al-Hilal in the Champions League this season.
