Nana Yaw Amponsah Hits Out at GFA : Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko Nana Yaw Amponsah continues to clash with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and it’s President Kurt Okraku over the current state of Ghana football.
The GFA President recently implored both Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak to find ways of attracting their fans to their matches following the Super Clash of last Sunday where the Phobians defeated the Porcupine Warriors by 1-0 at the Accra sports stadium.
However is responding to the Kurt Okraku’s remarks , the Kotoko CEO suggests the foundation has not been properly laid by the country’s governing body saying that “Hearts and Kotoko cannot build heaven in hell”.
I bet you those ideas won’t cost $1m to implement. The integrity of sports hinges upon the uncertainty of results. Kotoko and Hearts cannot build a Heaven in a Hell.

“A committee was later formed to implement ideas put forward by all speakers. I’m sure President Kurt Okraku would be the right person to tell us where that committee report is and of course has the power to implement same now that he is GFA President.

The latest tweet by Nana Yaw Amponsah says the salary of former Asante Kotoko striker Thiery Mbella Etouga is the same as the prize money of the winners of the Ghana Premier League but he fails to specify whether he is talking about Mbella’s Kotoko salary or what the Cameroon attacker earns at his current club Al Masry of Egypt.
