“There is nothing wrong with the Hearts of Oak goal” – Kotoku Royals coach John Eduafo endorses Caleb’s controversial winner

Eduafo Endorses Amankwah Caleb Winner : Contrary to the opinion of Star Times TV pundits about the correctness of Caleb Amankwah’s goal against Kotoku Royals on Sunday , the head coach of the away team John Eduafo rather sees no fault with the 96th minute winner against his team.

“Caleb is clearly off-side and you can see it. I wonder why the assistant referee could not see that he was offside. I mean when we are talking about the state of our game now but officiating is something we have to look at also” , Felix Romark stated on Adepa TV.

Romark’s co-pundit Ester Abankwah agreed with the former’s assertion.

“He (Caleb) is in an off-side position before the ball was kick. The goal should not have stood”.

However after the match Eduafo is quoted to have said the following :

“ The strategy was to keep the ball from Accra Hearts of Oak and that’s what we did till the last minute, and let me say there was nothing wrong with the goal. It was a good and perfect goal.” , he is quoted by GTV Sports Plus.
