New Hearts of Oak defender Konadu Yiadom has officially spoken for the first time after joining the Phobians.
Yiadom joins the Continental Club Masters after leaving West Africa Football Academy.
“I chose the best team in our league because I have to achieve my career ambitions. This is where the aim will be most fulfilled. It’s a dream come true.” Yiadom was quoted by the club.
The lanky center-back attracted the attention of several clubs including champions Asante Kotoko.
Yiadom partnered Mohammed Alhassan during the qualification series of the 2023 African Nations Championship. The defensive duo kept three clean sheets to help the Black Galaxies qualify for the tournament finals.
The Galaxies pair is expected to be used by Samuel Boadu this season.
