Legon Cities Walk off Pitch at Gold Stars : Players of Legon Cities temporarily abandoned their Week 25 Ghana Premier League match against Bibiani Gold Stars for eight minutes and only returned to continue after series of pleas from their head coach Maxwell Konadu.
Cities players thought their 72nd minute goal should have stood but referee Eso Doh Morrison disallowed it which led to the away team players temporarily boycotting the game by walking off the pitch.
But after Konadu’s intervention the players returned to the pitch at the 80th minute for the match to resume.
The game is currently ongoing in Bibiani as the home side lead by 3-2.
