Daniel Amartey Unused by Leicester City in 6 Games : Liverpool racked up their seventh straight win thanks to Curtis Jones’ quickfire double in the first half at King Power Stadium and then a brilliant free-kick from Trent Alexander-Arnold but Ghana defender Daniel Amartey was not involved.

The Black Stars defender has not featured in any of Leicester City’s last six matches.

With two fixtures left in the season, the result leaves Klopp’s men a point behind Newcastle United and Manchester United, who lie third and fourth respectively in the table but have played a game fewer.

Amartey’s last appearance for the Foxes dates back to April 4th as Bournemouth won by 1-0 at the King Power Stadium during Week 30 of the Premier League.

Leicester , winner of the 2015/16 Premier League , are in the relegation zone at the 19th position with 30 points in 36 matches.

Meanwhile Southampton who have two Ghanaian players on their roaster , Mohammed Salisu and Kamaldeen Sulemana have been relegated from the English top flight already with their 24 points taken from 36 matches.
