Abednego Tetteh Debut Brace : Bibiani Gold Stars defeated Tamale City by 3-2 during Week 14 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League as debutant striker Abednego Tetteh netted twice for the visitors at the Aliu Mahama stadium.
The former Hearts of Oak and Bechem United attacker joined the Bibiani side during the second transfer window of the season and provided instant positive impact to his new team.
Sampson Eduku put the home team ahead in the 8th minute but Emmanuel Appau equalized matters for Gold Stars just at the stroke of half time.
Eduku realized a brace with his 54th minute strike to restore Tamale City’s lead and once again Gold Stars equalized but this time through their new recruit Tetteh who made it 2-2 in the 74th minute.
In the seventh minute of additional time the lanky Tetteh snatched the match winner of his team who are now 3rd on the league log with 23 points in 14 matches contested.
