Accra Lions Transfer Two Players to China : Accra Accra Lions have announced the transfer of two of their players , Frederick Asante and Jacob Amu Mensah , to Chinese second-tier side Shanghai Jiading.
“We are pleased to announce the transfers of striker Fredrick Asante and defender Jacob Amu Mensah to Chinese second-tier club Shanghai Jiading.” , the Ghana Premier League side said in a statement on Tuesday.
“Both players contributed a lot to the success of our club, they deserve a chance for greener pastures even though we know that we will miss them sorely in the rest of our Ghana Premier League campaign. We wish Fredrick and Jacob the best of luck in their new challenge.” , the statement concluded.
Lions are second on the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League standings with 37 points in 21 games ; just two points behind league leaders Aduana FC.
