Asante Kotoko produced a big performance to dispatch lower-tier side Cornerstone by 5-1 on Sunday in a second pre-season friendly match as new striker Kalo Ouattara netted a brace.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a 1-1 drawn game by Kharis S.A earlier on Sunday morning but the team of Prosper Narteh Ogum were ruthless in the second preparatory game of the day.
Shadrack Addo was also on the score sheet as well as an unnamed trialist who scored a double.
Ouattara is expected to be one of the leading attackers for Kotoko for the upcoming season after joining from Berekum Chelsea. The player scored a powerful brace against the Reds during a league game in Berekum last season.
The Ghanaians were impressed and quickly secured his signature in the current window.
