Bechem Hammer Great Olympics : Bechem United were too strong for Great Olympics as the Hunters spanked their visitors by 3-0 on Sunday afternoon during Week 18 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League as Hafiz Wontah Konkoni netted twice.
Olympics who sacked head coach Yaw Preko and replaced him with former Karela United coach Bismark Kobby Mensah suffered one of the heaviest defeats in the Ghana Premier League this season.
Abdul Karim opened the scoring in the 26th minute before two more goals came from the boots of Konkoni in the 52nd and 78th minutes.
Konkoni is now joint-second top scorer of the league on 8 goals alongside Asante Kotoko attacker Steven Mukwala as Berekum Chelsea talisman Mezack Afriyie lead with 10 strikes.
Bechem are now second on the league standings with 30 points in 18 matches. Aduana Stars are at the summit with five more points in as many matches contested as their closes challengers.
