Cameroonian attacker Jérôme Ngom has signed a one and half year contract with Belgian side SK Beveren.
The 24-year old attracted the attention of several clubs during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He assisted the victorious goal of Cameroon against Brazil (1-0) during the last day of the group stage.
“Speed and energy are qualities we need in the final phase of the season,” SK Beveren general manager Antoine Gobin told Gva.be.
“We saw Jérôme, he adds, for the first time during his matches in the United States.
The match he played for Cameroon in the World Cup confirmed that he is ready to take this step.
Mbekeli is a dynamic player who can play on both wings. His qualities will give us a boost both in possession and in the loss of the ball.
