Chris Hughton Present at Christian Atsu’s Funeral : Black Stars of Ghana head coach Chris Hughton is part of the dignitaries that attended the funeral of the late Ghana international footballer Christian Atsu in Accra.
The ceremony is taking place at the forecourt of the State House as former Black Stars players such as Augustine Arhinful , John Paintsil , Sulley Muntari , Peter Ofori Quaye , Haminu Dramani , Richard Kingson , Yaw Preko all present at the event.
The new Ghana coach will take charge of his first official match on March 23rd against Angola at the Babayara sports stadium in Kumasi during match-day three of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification series.
In fact Hughton himself just arrived in the country after his late father was laid to rest in London on March 15th.
Meanwhile the former Technical advisor to former Ghana coach Otto Addo at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar will be unveiled on Monday March 20th in Kumasi.
