David Abagna Al-Hilal Transfer : Top Sudan sports journalist Tahir Salih has been speaking to www.ghanasportsmarket.com in a wide-ranging interview and revealed the reason why Sudan giants Al-Hilal Omdurman came for the signature of Real Tamale United (RTU) star attraction David Abagna Sandan.

The former Ashantigold SC midfielder established himself as the most influential player at RTU in the last two seasons before he left for Sudan in January 2023.

“Let me tell you that Al-Hilal watched the 2022 CHAN in Algeria with their scouts and David Abagna appeared at a great level during the competition. The Al Hilal coach (Florent Ibengé) then demanded his bosses to quickly get him Abagna at all cost.” Tahir Salih told GhanaSportsMarket.com exclusively.

“As you can see David has quickly fit into the team and the Al Hilal fans are really happy with the impressive Ghana duo Abagna and Imoro Ibrahim” Tahir added.

Ghana failed to come out of the group stages of the African Nations Championship in Algeria but Abagna was outstanding on a personal level and Al-Hilal were impressed.

Tahir Salih works for the Goon Sports Newspaper and he covered the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. He also covers most matches of Al-Hilal Omdurman who are currently competing in the 2022/23 CAF Champions League.
