This is a setback for a destination in Saudi Arabia.
As reported by CBS and the Mirror, Fifa has issued a very restrictive sanction against Al-Nassr, the club where Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing since last January. The Saudi club no longer has the right to register new players.
The case dates back to the transfer of Ahmed Musa in August 2018, which arrived against more than 16 million euros from Leicester.

For now, Al-Nassr is sanctioned for three windows on the transfer market. The public investment fund (PIF), which took 75% of Al-Nassr’s shares last June, intends to quickly resolve this problem to lift the ban by paying the sum to Leicester.
In recent days, Al-Nassr has formalized the signing of Marcelo Brozovic, recruited from Inter Milan for 18 million euros. Besides Al-Nassr, three other Saudi clubs were also bought by the PIF in June: Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli and Al-Hilal. These different teams have since continued to attract football stars to strengthen the local championship.
