“Kotoko could have never won the league if indeed the GFA hates them” – GFA General Secretary Harrison Addo rubbishes hate allegations

GFA General Secretary Rubbishes Kotoko Hate Allegations : Ghana Football Association (GFA) General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo has discredited allegations that the association has a bad relationship with Asante Kotoko.

According to the top GFA official , the Porcupine Warriors could have never been champions of Ghana if the GFA were truly against the success of the club.

“Who are the defending champions Asante Kotoko, if the FA doesn’t like you and the way the thing is positioned like the FA doesn’t like you that is why you are in this position (league),” he said on Peace FM.

“If that is true then Kotoko will never win the league but Kotoko were the champions and still they are the defending champions until we declare a winner.

Harrison Addo also implores those Kotoko fans and supporters not to run down the same competition they won last season just because they are not in a position to defend their title this term.

“Per the table Kotoko are the defending champions and the defending champions I see the way they took the cup. They should not denigrate it when somebody else is leading. When you do that you are not showing good sportsmanship.”

“If you win it is a genuine league but the day you don’t win and another team does then they say somebody does not want them to win. When you do that you are saying that before you start the league you have to be on top but if somebody else does then somebody is against Kotoko,” , Harrison Addo added.

Aduana FC are leading the Ghana Premier League standings with 52 points in 30 matches played as Medeama SC are second with 50 points and Bechem United take the third position with 48 points.
