Tamale City 4 Hearts of Oak 1 : Physical trainer Enoch Jordan Daitey reacts to the club’s worst defeat of the season

Hearts Physical Trainer Jordan Daitey Reacts to Tamale City Loss : Hearts of Oak suffered their biggest defeat in both the Ghana Premier League and across all competitions this season as Tamale City hammered them for 4-1 on Wednesday during Week 28 of the Ghana Premier League and match-day head coach of the Phobians Enoch Jordan Daitey reacted to the defeat after the game at the Aliu Mahama Sports stadium.

“I want to say thank God for giving us this strength for this game. What we planned was not what we got so we will go back home and then fix whatever we lost today.” , Enoch Jordan Daitey said.

“I can’t say anything” , Daitey added when quizzed about that really went bad for the Phobians.

Sampson Eduku netted twice to take his seasonal tally of goals to 12 as he establishes himself as the most reliable source of goals for his side.

Eduku opened the scoring in the 17th minute with a brilliant mazy run through a number of Hearts of Oak players before putting the ball at the back of Eric Ofori Antwi’s net.

Suraj Seidu committed a penalty in the 35th and Eduku stepped forward to successfully convert to make it 2-0 for Tamale City.

Mohammed Yahaya then made it 3-0 in the 56th minute as substitute goalkeeper Benjamin Nana Yeboah presented a gift to Yahaya following the former’s howler.

Substitute striker Victor Aidoo who was on loan at Real Tamale United last season scored the consolation goal for Enock Jordan Daitey’s side in the 79th minute but the home side struck again in stoppage time to finish the game at 4-1.

The Phobians were poor for most parts of the game as all four goals they conceded were horrible.

Tamale City are now 13th placed with 35 points in 28 games whilst Hearts of Oak drop to 5th with 42 points after 28 games played.
