“I still have a lot of work to do” – Isaac Dogboe admits weakness after losing WBO featherweight title fight to Robeisy Ramirez

Isaac Dogboe Hails Robeisy Ramirez as a Terrific Fighter : Ghanaian-British professional boxer Isaac Dogboe reacted to his WBO featherweight title fight defeat against Robeisy Eloy Ramirez Carrazana and admitted that he has a lot of work to do in order to bounce back whilst hailing the Cuban boxer as a “terrific fighter”.

“Congratulations to Robeisy Ramirez , a terrific fighter , he is a great guy.” , the 28-year old Dogboe said after the bout.

Dobgoe lost by unanimous decision.

The judges scored 117-110, 118-109, 119-108 in favor of Ramirez who recorded his 12th win as a professional boxer.

Since his first pro defeat in August 2009 , the Cuban has recorded 12th successive wins with Dogboe as his latest victim.

After the defeat at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tulsa, Oklahoma in the USA , the Ghanaian fighter said this :

“First of all I thank God almighty for the opportunity and also coming out of the ring safely. We both came out safely , and secondly I will like to thank my coaches and my team and everyone that supported me.

Thirdly I will like to apologize to my coaches and the rest of my team and the people that are out there praying for me and wish me well.

We didn’t get the decision today but we will definitely be back. I still have a lot of work to do , you know I fell short tonight.

Congratulations to Robeisy Ramirez , a terrific fighter , he is a great guy. I don’t take nothing away from him. I mean I was like the aggressor but I guess I wasn’t aggressive enough.

I think I couldn’t push enough that we all would have loved me to push but I will be back”.
