Algeria-based Ghanaian striker Kwame Opoku is set to return to his former club Asante Kotoko according to reports by Precise FM.
USM Algiers had wished to loan the forward to Kotoko for a season but the attacker who has been out of favour at the North Africa team has asked for a contract termination to aid his return to his former club.
Opoku is currently in Ghana waiting for all documentations to go through to aid his return to the champions of Ghana.
Kwame Opoku made 16 appearances for Kotoko and scored seven league goals in the 2020/21 season before leaving for Algeria.
