Three Consecutive Wins , 10th Place : Things are going on well for Maxwell Konadu and Legon Cities !

“We will not be relegated. Trust me” – Legon Cities boss Maxwell Konadu after 1-1 Kotoko draw

Legon Cities Defeat Accra Lions to Go Second : Legon Cities defeated Accra Lions by 2-0 on Wednesday to record their third consecutive victory in the Ghana Premier League and manager Maxwell Konadu and his team are gradually moving out of the relegation battle of the season as they sit comfortably at the 10th position on the league log. 

Each match is crucial for Cities and so far it is three out of three. Kofi Kordzi netted in the 35th minute before Ebenezer Armegah made it 2-0 in the 47th as Legon Cities held on to win by 2-0.

Konadu has consistently assured fans of the club that the team will play in the elite league in the 2023/24 season and so far the results have been positive.

The club formerly known as Wa All Stars are now 10th on the league standings with 37 points in 28 games played ; that is five more points over the 16th placed team Great Olympics who play on Thursday against Asante Kotoko.

The successive wins have come against Kotoku Royals , Karela United and Lions.
