Mbella to Egypt : Asante Kotoko striker Franck Etouga Mbella is set to join Egyptian side Al Masry for $400 000 transfer fee.
This is according to Cameroonian journalist Bambe Wanneh Giovanni who revealed the news on Twitter on Sunday morning.
“Mbelle Etouga spotted at the Cairo international airport at 2 am today.He is set to complete his deal from
@AsanteKotoko_SC to #AlMasry for a reported $400 thousands plus 30 percent in case of future sales. The player will earn $25,000 a month, in the 4-year deal.” Bambe tweeted.
The author of 21 goals in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League for Asante Kotoko is yet to make an appearance for the Porcupine Warriors this season.
Mbella did not form part of the cub’s pre-season in Sundan and missed the CAF Champions League game against RC Kadiogo in Benin.
The champions of Ghana welcome the Burkina Faso side to the Babayara stadium on Sunday for the second leg of the preliminary tie and Etouga is definitely not part of the Kotoko squad.
