Mohammad Abdul Rahaman has joined Austria lower side FC BW Feldkirch from Ghana Premier League team Nsoatreman FC.
Mohammed Abdul is likely to make his debut appearance for his new Austrian club this weekend.
The transfer was facilitated by Soccer Scouting Agency.
The prolific forward racked up 15 goals and set up a further 15 assists to help Nsoatreman FC qualify for the elite Ghanaian championship.
Mohammed Abdul Rahaman established himself as one of the best players of the Division One League in 2021/22 season.
Meanwhile the Nsoatre-based side has registered former Asante Kotoko striking duo Frederick Boateng and Abass Mohammed as attacking reinforcements for ahead of their debut Premier League season.
Full Statement from Feldkirch announcing the capture of Mohammed Abdul Rahaman :
Six match days have already been played in the current state league championship 2022/23, but Sparkasse FC BW Feldkirch has strengthened itself before the end of the transfer period and was able to win striker Abdul Rahaman Mohammed from Ghana/West Africa.
The 22-year-old striker almost single-handedly helped his resigning club FC Nsoatreman gain promotion to the Premier League (first division of Ghana) last season. He scored 15 goals in 20 games. Mohammed also had 15 assists.
The 1.85 meter tall Ghanaian can play both the flanks and the central positions on the offensive and should make the Montfortstadt attack a little more unpredictable.
The Sparkasse FC BW Feldkirch acts as a stepping stone for higher tasks for the newcomer.
This transfer was made possible by the new cooperation between the traditional Oberland club and the UNIQ STARS SPORTS Agency (USSA), led by Mr. Christian Gutzwiller from the Gutzi Soccer Academy.
They identify the country’s most talented footballers, systematically train the best young talents, give them a good, sound school education and help the players to get a professional contract in the top three leagues in Ghana.
The next goal for every young footballer is, of course, football in Europe. This cooperation and the “BW scholarship” offer opportunities for the future!
