Neymar Wants to Go Back to Santos : Neymar Jnr, who attended the match between Santos and Audax Italiano (0-0) on Thursday April 20th during the second day of the Copa Sudamericana group stage, spoke about the possibility of returning one day to Pelé’s club.
“One day I will come back, I will come back soon” , the phenomenal PSG attacker said.
The PSG player posed with a club shirt and with Brazilian futsal star Falcao, added this :
“It’s so good to come back home. I feel at home here, I’m so happy to be back here ten years later. I came here to support Santos and receive affection from the fans.
It’s the club that gave me everything, that opened doors for me and my family, that revealed me to the world.”
The 31-year-old striker, who has netted 18 goals and 17 assists in 29 games in all competitions this season, is still linked with PSG until 2025.
While recovering from injury at the ankle in February, the Brazilian can do the mathematics : at the end of his Parisian contract, he will be 33 years old and that is the ideal age for him to return to where it all began for him.
