Hearts of Oak legend Daniel Quaye has reacted to the team’s latest Ghana Premier League defeat at Bofoakwa Tano on Saturday as he tears into the Hearts of Oak players.
Saaka Dauda scored the only goal of the game as the Phobians were beaten on the road for the second time running.
“I watched the Great Olympics and Bofoakwa Tano game in Accra here and I saw that Frimpong Manso as a former defender has made sure his defence is strong. The Bofoakwa Tano players look so united and compact because they have played together for a long time from the Division One League” , Daniel Quaye told Ghanasportspage.com in an exclusive chat on Sunday.
“I did not watch the game but I listened to commentary on radio and you could see that Bofoakwa were ahead of Hearts of Oak.” , the former defender added.
Meanwhile Dan Quaye tackled the Phobian players as he entreats them to improve their performance.
“We have to tell the players to stop that social media hype and concentrate on football. They should do well for the club. You train for the whole week and go into match and play bad football , then that is a big problem. Let me tell you that during our time , our phones were ceased by the club management before matches and after we have done that job , they give them back to us but today things have changed.
We have hyped the players but they are not doing the jo for us. They are just overrated” , Quaye lamented.
