“We conceded bad defensive goals against Mexico” – Chris Hughton demands improved defending from his team ahead of USA friendly !

Head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana Chris Hughton wants an improved performance from his team ahead of the second international friendly against the United States of America on Wednesday.

The Black Stars were defeated by Mexico over the weekend at the Bank of America stadium with two goals scored by Hirving Lozano and Uriel Antuna.

According to the former Brighton and Holve Albion manager , the two goals could have been avoided by the Ghanaian team as he demands for a better defensive performance against the USA.

“You know the opposition had a bigger percentage of the ball , maybe a bigger percentage of chances but but you cannot afford to give away what we regard as bad defensive goals , the two goals we gave away we thought were avoidable , that was good quality from the Mexico team but the two goals were avoidable” , Hughton said at his pre-match press conference ahead of the USA friendly match which takes place on Wednesday at 12 : 30 AM (Ghana time) at the GEODIS Park; Nashville.
