Timothy Weah achieves a feat his father never did

Timothy Weah : George Weah , arguably the greatest ever African footballer , did not play at the FIFA World Cup but his son Timothy Weah has gone on to score at the biggest ever football competition in history.

In 1995, five years before the birth of Timothy in Brooklyn, his father won the only Ballon d’Or for an African player in history.

On Monday at the age of 22, the son of the former PSG and AC Milan striker scored the first goal for the United States in the 36th minute as Gareth Bale equalized for Wales with a late penalty for the Group B match to end 1-1.
