Imoro Ibrahim Has Impressed at Al-Hilal : Former Asante Kotoko left back is having a good season at Al-Hilal Omdurman following his move to the Sudanese giants in August 2022.
The Ghanaian defender , alongside compatriot David Abagna Sandan , could help Al-Hilal qualify to the knockout stages of the CAF Champions League for the first time since 2015.
The People’s Club sit second on the Group B table with 9 points in 4 matches as Mamelodi Sundowns top the group with just a point more. The South African side crushed Al Ahly by 5-2 on Saturday in Pretoria to take control of the group.
Al-Hilal play at home against the in-form Masandawana on 18th March whilst Ahly travel to Garoua to take on Coton Sport on Match-Day 5.
Florent Ibenge and his team need to avoid a defeat on Match-Day Five in order to brighten their chances of reaching the knockout round and Tahir Salih tells us how important Imoro has been to the side since arriving from Ghana.
“It is difficult to predict the fortunes of Al-Hilal but the team has a historic opportunity to qualify for the next round.” , he told GhanaSportsMarket.com in an exclusive interview.
“As for Imoro he is certainly considered one of the most important players of the team and the coach counts on him a lot thanks to his defensive discipline and offensive tendency of sending dangerous balls in the opponent’s bos” , Tahir Salih told GhanaSportsMarket.com during a wide-ranging chat.
