“Qualification is still possible for us” : Al-Hilal head coach Florent Ibenge ahead of Al Ahly showdonw

Florent Ibenge Confident of Qualification : The head coach of Al-Hilal SC Florent Ibenge is confident of securing qualification to the knockout stage of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League following their home draw against Mamelodi Sundowns.

The People’s club were held at the Al Hilal stadium on Saturday by Mamelodi Sundows who went away with a point.

Al -Hilal’s Ethar El Tahir missed a 90th minute penalty with the score line at 1-1.

The coach of Ibrahim Imoro and David Abagna is however confident his team can secure qualification in Cairo on March 31st against the most successful club in the history of the competition.

“We missed a penalty kick, and we had many opportunities that we did not invest well in front of an organized team like Sundowns.” , Florent Ibenge said after the match.

“Qualification is still possible. We have a confrontation in Cairo, which we will work to take advantage of and qualify for the next round.” , the Congolese trainer added.
