Daniel Amartey’s Special Black Stars Feat : The Leicester City defender Daniel Amartey has started and completed the last twenty matches of the Black Stars of Ghana across all competitions.
He is the only player in the current Black Stars team to have done so.
Amartey’s run started on October 9th , 2021 in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying home match against Zimbabwe.
The tough-tackling center-back is named in the Ghana starting line – up against Angola for Thursday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola for his 21st consecutive start at the Black Stars.
