Nana Coker Not Impressed by Kotoko Board of Directors : Former Asante Kotoko General Manager Nana Kwasi Gyambibi Coker has said that the board of directors of the club have failed to live up to expectations after almost three years since the board was formed.
The life patron of the club Otumfour Osei Tutu II formed the Kotoko board on 28th May 2017 as Dr. Kwame Kyei was named the board chairman but Coker is not impressed by their work.
“Kotoko board and management have veered off track from their original mandate.” , Nana Gyembibi said.
“The board was appointed by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and they in turn appointed the management to run the club. However, it seems that things have been poorly handled,” he told Asempa FM.
He continued :
“The board was given a document outlining their duties, and that document will be used to assess their performance. But it is not within my authority to comment on the board and management’s performance.
“I am aware of what was contained in the document, which is why I am refraining from evaluating their performance. The media can also monitor the work of the management and board.
Their actions have been completely contrary to what they were instructed to do. The three-year period is coming to an end, and they have veered off track from their original mandate,” he added.
