Adu Poku Cries for Help : Former Asante Kotoko forward Prince Adu Poku is soliciting for financial assistance from fans and supporters of the club after revealing heart-wrenching ordeal on radio.
The former Brong Ahafo United star player also became captain of the Porcupine Warriors at some time during his career in Kumasi.
“I need help. I plead on all my Kotoko supporters and Ghanaians to help me” Adu Poku is quoted by sports journalist Bright Owusu to have told Oyerepa FM.
“I depend on my wife and the benevolence of others to survive. I have left Kumasi to live my wife’s house at Nkoranza because I was unable to renew my rent when it expired” the former footballer narrated his ordeal.
Aside his football genius , Adu Poku was one of the most popular players in the Ghana Premier League in the 90s for his corn roll hair style.
