Agyenim Boateng hits Brace : Dreams FC humbled Real Tamale United (RTU) by 3-1 during Week 13 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu as striker Agyenim Boateng Mensah once again grabbed the headlines.
The intelligent goal-scorer scored a brace to help his team register their fifth victory of the season.
Mensah put Dreams ahead in the 15th minute with a clever header. The influential attacker Issa Kuka equalized seven minutes later for RTU but Agyenim Boateng Mensah converted an 85th minute penalty to restore his team’s lead.
Former Bofoakwa Tano striker Huzaif Ali then sealed the win for the home team in the 87th as Dreams won 3-1.
The goals means Mensah has now scored six goals in the league this season ; only Mezack Afriyie of Berekum Chelsea has scored more than the Dreams FC forward. Also RTU’s Kuka has 6 goals this season.
