Alexander Djiku Ruled Out of Angola AFCON Qualifier on Monday : Ghana center back Alexander Djiku has been ruled out of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola after sustaining an injury on Thursday.
The Strasbourg defender went out injured in the 87th minute during Thursday’s 1-0 victory against Angola at the Babayara sports stadium but now he will not play any part in the reverse match in Luanda on Monday.
Other players who didn’t make the trip include captain Andre Ayew, Mohammed Salisu and Denis Odoi.
The Black Stars will depart Accra on Saturday afternoon for Luanda ahead of the match on Monday, March 27, 2023.
