First male child born in Dormaa on Friday will be named after Andre Ayew – Dormaahene declares !

Andre Ayew To Be Honored in a Special Manner in Dormaa  : The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II has declared that the first male born child on Friday June 23rd at the Dormaa Hospital will be name after Ghana captain Andre Ayew.

This is to honor the son of the legendary Ghanaian footballer Abedi Ayew following the historic visit of some Black Stars players.

As part of 2023 All Star Festival which is being hosted in the Bono, Bono, Bono-East and Ahafo regions, the players were present at a durbar hosted by the traditional ruler in Dormaa.

He made a special announcement, stating that the first male baby born at Dormaa Hospital tomorrow, Friday, June 23, 2023, will be named after the celebrated footballer.

In addition, the Dormahene, together with the traditional council, has pledged to cater for the baby until he reaches the age of maturity.

Andre Ayew, who leads the Black Stars, was joined by other prominent players such as his brother Jordan Ayew, Wakaso, Afena Gyan, Kudus Mohammed, Kamaladeen, and more as they participate in the highly anticipated All Star Festival 2023 match.

The Dormahene and the entire community of Dormaa eagerly anticipate the arrival of the lucky child to enjoy the promises.

With 114 appearances, Ayew holds the record for the most appearances for the Ghana national team.
