Asante Kotoko 0 Heart of Lions 0 : How Kotoko players were rated !

The Porcupine Warriors held at home by Heart of Lions on Sunday at the Babayara sports stadium during the opening week of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.

Ghanasportsmarket.com has rated the performance of the Asante Kotoko players.

GK Frederick Asare 6/10 : Committed a mistake far from his goal in the second half. Made couple of fine saves.

RB Augustine Agyapong 5/10 : Didn’t offer too much in terms of attack. Taken off in the second half.

CB Mohammed Yusif Nurudeen 7/10 : Excellent debut for the former RTU man. Composed all the time. Made several good clearances.

CB Henry Ansu 6/10 : Tried to score from couple of freekicks. Good game , anyway.

LB John Tedeku 6/10 : Just like Agyapong , we did not see many runs down the left from him. Defensively he did his job well.

CM Rocky Kyei Dwamena 6.5/10  : That was a great first match for Kotoko. Passed the ball so well.

CM Mohammed Sherif 6/10 : Worked hard for the team whenever they are without the ball. Good game.

RF Bernard Somuah 5/10 : Tried to make things happen on the left. Taken off in the second period.

AM. Shadrack Addo 6/10 : Made some great runs against the Lions defenders.

LF Georges Mfegue 5/10 : Captain of the side was not at his usual high level.

CF Julius Ziggy Ofori 6/10 : Made several attempts at goal but he failed to beat the Lions goalkeeper
