Asasewura in Benin : Avid Asante Kotoko fans including Ebenezer Owusu a.k.a Asasewura travelled to Cotonou for the CAF Champions League game against Rail Club de Kadiogo on Monday.
However the match was played behind closed doors.
Asasewura is reputed for traveling to matches of Asante Kotoko – both home and away – and for the first match of the 2022/23 season , he and other fans were there in Cotonou to support the team.
The ardent fan travelled to all 35 matches of the Porcupine Warriors last season and he is continuing the ritual this season.
Kotoko won the game by 1-0 thanks to a stoppage time winner by Isaac Oppong.
