Bofo Hold Kotoko : Bofoakwa Tano held Asante kotoko to a goalless draw at the Sunyani Coronation Park during a friendly encounter on Sunday.

Ahead of the resumption of the Betpawa Ghana Premier League, the Porcupine Warriors arranged the preparatory match against Division One side Bofoakwa Tano.

Both teams started strong line ups as they entertained the crowd at the Coronation Park.

The home side started the game strongly but could not find the back of the net in the first half of the game whiles Asante Kotoko came closer to open the scoring through Charles Owusu.

Bofoakwa goalkeeper Emmanuel Kobi was the toast of the fans as he made several top saves in the first half to prevent the champions from breaching his goal.

In the second period Kotoko came in much stronger but still the brilliance of Kobi remained as the game ended 0-0.

The team coached by Seydou Zerbo will now return to Kumasi to prepare for their Matchday 9 fixture against Berekum Chelsea at the Babayara Sports Staduim.
