Daniel Amartey at Leicester City : Ghana international defender Daniel Amartey has not featured in Leicester City’s last four Premier League games this season.
The Black Stars center-back was the most used defender in the 2021/22 season of the 2016 English champions under manager Brendan Rodgers as he made 28 league appearances. Amartey started 23 of those matches.
This season the Ghanaian has appeared in 17 Premier League games of The Foxes.
Amartey was not in the squad against Aston Villa on February 4th as the Foxes won 4-2 on the road. He was also an unused substitute in the league games against Tottenham Hotspur , Arsenal and Manchester United.
The 24-year old Ghanaian was however in the starting line-up in Leicester City’s FA Cup defeat against Blackburn Rovers on February 28th.
