Daniel Amartey Can Extend Special Ghana Record : Daniel Amartey has started and completed the last twenty-one matches of the Black Stars of Ghana across all competitions. The center-back has never been substituted in that incredible run and he could extend it to 22 matches on Monday. 

He is the only player in the current Black Stars team to have played every single minute of the last 21 matches of the Ghana national team.

Not even Andre Ayew , Jordan Ayew , Mohammed Kudus or Thomas Partey come near in terms of this special feat.

This special feat of the 28-year old  is one of the best individual records for any Black Stars player of all time.

Amartey’s run started on October 9th , 2021  in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying home match against Zimbabwe

The tough-tackling center-back completed 90 minutes against Angola in Thursday’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying victory against Angola.

The injuries to Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Salisu means the Leicester City man could extend his amazing run of consecutive starts in the Luanda match on Monday.

Meanwhile Nicholas Opoku has been invited to join the Ghana camp in Luanda.
