Ghana beat Switzerland : Ghana defeated Switzerland by 2-0 on Thursday morning in a final World Cup warm-up match for both national teams in Abu Dhabi.

Second half goals from Southampton defender and Bristol City striker Antoine Semenyo were enough to clinch a morale boosting friendly win for the Black Stars ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup opener against Portugal on November 24th.

Salisu headed home the opener in the 70th minute for his first international goal before Semenyo scored his maiden Ghana goal four minutes later. The 22-year old smashed home Ghana’s second with his left foot following a rebound that came from Kamaldeen Sulemana’s effort.
