Ghana Line-Up vrs Mozambique : Ghana national U23 team head coach Ibrahim Tanko has named his starting line-up for Sunday’s 2022 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.
Ibrahim Danlad starts in goal as captain Daniel Afriyie Barnieh , Olympics forward Abbey Ashie Quaye , Dominic Nsobila are all handed starting places.
The Asante Kotoko goalkeeper had to leave the Black Meteors camp to burry his late father on October 7th. The highly-rated goalkeeper re-joined his colleagues in camp after the funeral rites of his deceased father that took place exactly a week ago in Sunyani.

The match takes place at the Estádio do Zimpeto in Maputo. The kick off is 1pm local Ghana time.
Ghana enter the qualification tournament in the Second Round. Meanwhile Mozambique defeated Mauritius back to back (3-0 victory at home and 2-1 win away ) during the First Round to advance to this current stage.
In the Black Meteors , Mozambique , who are currently hosting the 2022 CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations , face a much credible opposition.
About the CAF U23 AFCON :
The tournament was founded in 2011. On 6 August 2015, the CAF Executive Committee decided to change the name of the tournament from the CAF U-23 Championship to the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
