CAF Champions League : Ghana’s Imoro Ibrahim starts for Al – Hilal against Al Ahly in Group B Decider tonight

Ibrahim Imoro Starts for Al-Hilal Against Al Ahly on April 1st : Ghana defender Ibrahim Imoro is named in the Al – Hilal Omdurman starting line – up to face Al Ahly in a CAF Champions League decider on Saturday night.

The final Group B match takes place at the Cairo International stadium and it kicks off 19 : 00 GMT.

However compatriot David Abagna Sandan who made the trip to Egypt with the Sudan side fails to make the match-day squad.

Ahly must win the match in order to qualify to the knockout stages but at least a draw will be enough for Florent Ibenge’s team to reach the knockout stage.

Al – Hilal are second on the group B table with 10 points in 5 matches played whilst the Egyptian giants are next with 7 points as group leaders Mamelodi Sundowns on 11 points have already qualified to the quarter-finals.

At least a 1-0 win will see the Marcel Koller’s Ahly qualify at the expense of the away team thanks to Ahly’s better overall goal difference.

The former Asante Kotoko defender has thus started all six matches of Al – Hilal in the CAF Champions League this season whilst former Real Tamale United playmaker Abagna has not featured in the last two games against Sundowns and Ahly.
