Kotoko Defeat Bechem United By 1-0 : Enock Morrison’s solitary goal was enough for Asante Kotoko to defeat Bechem United at the Babayara sports stadium on Wednesday during Week 19 of the betPawa Ghana Premier League.

The midfielder scored in the 21st minute to put Seydou Zerbo’s side in front.

Bechem United threatened to level on a number of occasions but Kotoko strongly protected their slim lead as Mohammed Alhassan put his FA Cup woes against Aduana Stars behind him to produce a top performance.

Seydou Zerbo restored first-choice goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad in goal after the Black Galaxies custodian missed the Dormaa trip due to an injury.

The victory means Kotoko collected their 31st point of the season in 19 games as they sit second on the league standings (31 points) , five points behind leaders Aduana Stars (36 points) who dropped points at home against King Faisal.
