Kotoko GPL Prize Money: The Ghana Football Association announced on Monday that full payments of prize monies have been made to deserving clubs of the 2021/22 season and the Porcupine Warriors claim the most of any of the clubs.
Kotoko won the Premier League title for the first time since the 2013/14 season and have received the lion’s share (GHC 250 000) of the overall prize money of GHC 1 , 048 , 300.
Correction : Medeama the 1st Runner Up of the GPL take home GHC 150 000 ( but not GHC 50 000 as shown in this image published by the GFA below).
Third-placed Bechem United claim GHC 80 000 for their impressive run last season.
The prize monies for the first three teams of the Ghana Premier League were the same in the 2020/21 season.
