“We failed to defend our league title because of how poor our players were” – Former Kotoko supporters chief aims dig at Richard Boadu and co !

Kwaku Amoonsah Aims Dig at Kotoko Players : Former Asante Kotoko National Circles Council chairman Kwaku Amponsah blames the players of the team for the club’s inability to defend their 2021/22 Ghana Premier League title in the 2022/23 season.

The Porcupine Warriors finished 4th after Medeama (league winners) , Aduana FC (Second) and Bechem United (3rd) and Kwaku Amponsah , a staunch Kotoko supporter has called out Richard Boadu and his teammates.

“The reason why we failed to defend the league title was due to how poor our players were during the course of last season. They disappointed us all. It is not all the time that we will blame the coaches , the players too were too bad” , he told Fox FM in Kumasi on Friday.

“Right now what we are waiting for is for Otumfour Osei Tutu II to speak and then we shall know the the direction of the club. He has not spoken yet and we (supporters) cannot tell you our plans for the upcoming season.” , he added.
