CAF Champions League : Medeama claim 3-2 penalty shootout victory to advance against Remo Stars !

In the upcoming CAF Champions League encounter, Ghana Premier League champions Medeama have set their sights on a potential upset against the formidable Guinea titans, Horoya.

The clash promises to be a thrilling showdown, pitting the determined underdogs against the established giants.

Medeama’s audacious aim reflects their unwavering belief in their own capabilities, and their journey into the prestigious CAF Champions League is a testament to their commitment to excel on the continental stage.

The encounter with Horoya will serve as a litmus test, an opportunity for the club to measure its prowess against one of Africa’s footballing powerhouses.

Medeama booked a date with Horoya after emerging victorious with a 3-2 shootout scoreline against Nigerian club Remo Stars at the Remo Stars Stadium.

Medeama will take on Horoya without their talismanic skipper Vincent Atinga. Atinga has ended his two-and-half-year stay with the Yellow and Mauve.

The talented defender had a successful career with Medeama. He scored 21 goals in two seasons.
