Partey is Back from Injury : Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey made an injury comeback against Everton during a rescheduled Premier League fixture on Wednesday night as The Gunners run riot at the Emirates.

The Week 7 league fixture could not take place on 11th September 2022 due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

Arsenal won 4-0 as Partey started from the bench. The Black Stars midfielder replaced Jorginho in the 46th minute when Arsenal were leading by 2-0.

It was Partey’s 20th appearance in the Premier League this season for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The goals were scored by Bukayo Saka , Gabriel Martinelli who netted a brace and captain Martin Odegaard.

The injured Partey missed the games against Manchester City and Aston Villa on February 15th and February 18th respectively but he is fit again.

Many fans took to social media to praise the Ghanaian for his second half performance against Everton.

Arsenal are now leading the Premier League standings with 60 points in 25 matches whilst closest challengers City are second with five points less after the same number of games contested.

What next?

Arsenal welcome Bournemouth to the Emirates stadium on Saturday March 4th whilst Manchester City play Newcastle United at the Etihad.
