Ronaldo on Bruno Handshake : Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to reports that his Manchester United teammate Bruno Fernandes snubbed his handshake in the Portugal dressing room following the former’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan.
The Black Stars of Ghana take on Portugal on Thursday for their first group match at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In a press briefing on Monday , the former Real Madrid attacker provided some clarifications.
“We were playing around last week,” Ronaldo said.
“His plane was late and I asked him did you come by boat. Please, don’t ask players about me, ask about the World Cup.”
“Timing is always timing. From your side it is easy to look at how we can choose timings.
“Sometimes you write truths, sometimes you write lies. I don’t have to worry what others think. I talk when I want to. Everybody knows who I am, what I believe in.” Ronaldo said at the Al Shahaniya Sports Club as quoted by The Sun and reproduced by GhanaSportsMarket.com.
