Ronaldo : The Spotlight is on him

Ronaldo : Cristiano Ronaldo has been in the media spotlight following his explosive interview with Piers Morgan that was published via The Sun.

Portugal take on Ghana on November 24th for their 2022 FIFA World Cup group stage opener and it is interesting to see how Ronaldo is attracting all the headlines after his controversial interview.

The legendary Portuguese figure spoke some strong words against manager Erik ten Hag and former club teammates Wayne Rooney.

Ronaldo also question why there is lack of infrastructural progress at the club.

“Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established. Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff, and fans.” Manchester United said in a brief statement on November 14th.

Portugal defeated Ghana by 2-1 at the World Cup in Brazil 2014 with Ronaldo scoring an 80th minute winner.
